Teacher Preview of the Mesopotamian Monuments Virtual Field Trip

Preview a grade 6 virtual field trip to see if it will enhance student understanding. Analyze sculptures in the collection of the Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East to identify the characteristics of ancient river civilizations. The Sumerian ruler Gudea, Hammurabi of Babylon and three Assyrian Kings are the stars. Program includes a demonstration of cuneiform on clay and listening to spoken Babylonian. Time is available for teacher questions about content or reserving a program. Log in from school or home.
